Have a Super Mario-velous Time at Movies in the Moonlight

City to Host Free Event on October 17

Join the City of Tallahassee for free, out-of-this-world fun at Movies in the Moonlight on Saturday, Oct. 17, in Cascades Park. The fall feature is “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.”

The excitement kicks off at 6 p.m. in the Adderley Amphitheater with an array of Mario-themed family fun, as well as photo spots with toad-ally iconic props! The movie begins at 7:30 p.m. Whether your style vibe is Princess Peach, Bowser or just a good pair of overalls, everyone is encouraged to dress as their favorite character from the Mushroom Kingdom.

"The Super Mario Galaxy Movie," a thrilling PG-rated animated adventure, will rocket you to outer space with Mario, Luigi and a cast of familiar faces as they try to rescue Princess Rosalina and stop Bowser Jr. from exploiting her cosmic powers to take over the universe.

Attendees can enjoy a complimentary bag of popcorn (while supplies last), and food vendors will be on-site offering a variety of dinner options, snacks and treats. Seats in the Adderley Amphitheater are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees can also bring a blanket and watch the movie from the grass at the back of the amphitheater.
